Istituto Comprensivo "U. Foscolo ”- Vescovato (CR) in collaboration with Junion Band Association organizes the XXVII" Enrico Arisi "Music Competition.
The event will be held on 19, 20, 21 April 2021.
From this edition, category B of the "brass" section and of the "string instruments" section will also be open to international competitors.
Due to the COVID-19 emergency, the 2021 edition is scheduled in video version.

Cat. B-INTERNATIONAL: born from 01-01-2006 to 31-12-2008; free program of maximum 12 minutes (only sect. 3 Strings instruments and 5 Brass instruments)
Cat. C: nati dall'1-01-2003 al 31-12-2005; programma libero di massimo 12 minuti (Sezioni 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

2. REGISTRATION
Registration for the competition can be made online starting from Saturday 16 January 2021 until Thursday 8 April 2021 using the application form available on www.didatticafoscolo.it - Concorso Arisi; for info:

3. CREATION OF VIDEOS
Videos can be made with both cameras and smartphones.
The jury will not evaluate the quality, the type of video recording and the context in which it was made, but only the musical, artistic and interpretative aspects relating to the performance of the program pieces.
SOLOISTS
• If piano accompaniment is provided, the program can be performed with a backing track or even without any accompaniment.
• Before the performance, the competitor must introduce himself by saying: “Arisi 2021 Competition”, his name, surname and the title of the piece.
• The recording, including the presentation, must be done in a single take; it is forbidden to stop the recording during the performance (even in the case of rests); a composition in several movements must be recorded subsequently, without interrupting the recording; Different music tracks can be recorded with different takes. It is forbidden to cut or modify the video recording and apply artificial filters and reverbs.
• The instrument, hands and face of the competitor and any accompanying persons must be clearly visible.
• The length of the video must not exceed the time specified in the announcement.

4. UPLOAD VIDEO
Deadline for submitting videos: April 8, 2021. Use one of the following methods:
• send the videos with WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com) or similar service by addressing it to
• upload the video to YouTube; set privacy as "public" or "unlisted". Indicate the link in the application form (NOTES field) and also send it by email to concorsoarisi@gmail.com. Videos set to "private" will not be accepted.
The following data must be reported in the WeTransfer message or in the email with the link to the video published on Youtube:
• XXVII Arisi Competition + Code of the section and category.
• Surname, Name and instrument.
• Composer and title of the compositions performed.
The videos sent with WeTransfer will be published on Youtube with privacy set as “not listed”. Whoever wants the video to be published as "public" must specify this.
All videos will be made visible on the pages dedicated to the Arisi Competition of the website www.didatticafoscolo.it starting from April 19, 2021.

7. The competition juries will be announced on the competition website in the days preceding the event. The participation of the students of the commissioners of the competition is not allowed.
8. The jury's decision is final.
9. An online event will be organized on the afternoon of April 30, 2021; on this occasion the rankings and the winners of the competition will be announced. The rankings will also be published on the competition web pages starting from 22 April 2021.
10. Privacy: Istituto Comprensivo U. Foscolo di Vescovato is responsible for processing the data that will be used confidentially and in compliance with the rights of the person. According to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 193/03 the data provided will be processed for organizational and logistical purposes.
Participants in the competition authorize I.C. Ugo Foscolo to publish the videos sent, non-profit, exclusively for the purposes of promoting the Competition; the competitors acknowledge that this form of use of their services will not give the right to any compensation.
According to Art. 7 of the aforementioned law, the data owner has the right to know, update, delete and correct their data or to oppose their use.
11. The organization reserves the right to make any changes to this announcement and possibly abolish a category if the number of competitors is not considered sufficient. Only in this case will the registration fee be refunded.
The organization will not be held responsible for risks or damages of any kind that may arise to the competitors during the course of the whole event.
The organization may, for reasons of force majeure, modify or supplement the rules relating to the awarding of prizes or the prizes themselves.
Any changes / additions will be made known on the website www.didatticafoscolo.it (Arisi Competition area) before the start of the event.
Registration for the competition implies acceptance of the rules established by this announcement.

• Violino 3/4 costruito dal M.º Liutaio Stefano Conia (il giovane) dotato di custodia costruita dal M.º Dimitri Musafia.
Lo strumento sarà dato in comodato d'uso gratuito per un anno, fino alla settimana che precede la prossima edizione del Concorso Arisi.
Premio KIWANIS Club Cremona
• Violino 3/4 costruito dal M.º Liutaio Stefano Conia (senior) dotato di custodia costruita dal M.º Dimitri Musafia.
lo strumento sarà dato in uso gratuito per un anno, fino alla settimana che precede la prossima edizione del Concorso Arisi.
I due strumenti saranno assegnati, secondo indicazione della commissione giudicatrice, a concorrenti della categoria A o della categoria E che suonano uno strumento 3/4 e che hanno ottenuto il miglior punteggio assoluto tra i ragazzi che suonano uno strumento della stessa misura.

Alla Scuola Media ad Indirizzo Musicale che conseguirà il punteggio più alto in una apposita graduatoria che terrà conto della somma delle valutazioni, a partire dagli 80/100, degli allievi/insiemi presentati:
